In the Crystal City of Spain, Jane Richard Philips, Longines elegance ambassador, clinched a wonderful second place in the seventh leg of the Longines FEI World Cup Western Europe League 2016/2017 held for the first time in the beautiful Casas Novas Equestrian Centre at La Coruna, Spain.
This second place, achieved after a thrilled seven-horse jump-off with Jane and Pablo de Virton as last-to-go, allowed Jane to get a bit of the €330,000 total prize money and to score important points which propelled her to the 13th position of the Western Europe leaderboard ! A remarkable achievement in La Coruna CSI2* also for Jane's husband, Ignace Philips, who won the Prize Azkar 140 against the clock on Saturday with the powerful grey Dream di San Patrignano! A great victory for this young mare who recently joined Jane’s stables starting with her and Ignace a career in top international show jumping.
Now a full period of rest for Jane’s top horses and for Jane and team some weeks at home to be dedicated to national events, stages and clinics at the Madonnina equestrian center and free time to spend with the Family !
