About me
Hi Everyone,
I was born on April 7th 1983 in Evilard – Switzerland. I’ve always loved horses, but no one in my family was into horse riding, that's why I started to ride only when I was a teenager as a hobby.
My passion and my attitudes convinced my parents to buy the first horse Flamenco, who allowed me to take the licence.
From that moment on horses turned out to be a key part of my life, and success arrived soon. I rode for 7 years in the Willi Mellinger stables and with him I started the first high level competitions, first as a junior and then as a young rider.
At 15 years old, on 1998, I debuted in my first professional competition, winning the Swiss Final Team Trophy in Kerzers (SUI) riding El Rico. From this medal on, I kept ranking among the best 10 riders of my category.
The year after, I reached the third place in my first GP in the Rosental (CH) CSI-JY riding Duchesse. I've competed in three editions of the Juniores and Young Rider European Championships and in 2002 I've gained my first victory in GP at Siena (ITA) CSI-B on Good-Life.
After the experience at the Willi Mellinger stables I had the opportunity to work for a while with Pius Schwizer and Eric Luradour, taking part to several stages with Georg Morris too.
On 2006, still studying sport & economics at the university, I moved to Italy at the historical club La Madonnina, now my stable, and this decision has been a real turning point for my life and my career.
I had good results in several FEI Nation Cups, in April 2010 I took the 14th place at the Final World Cup in Genève and in September 201 I left Turin for the World Championships in Kentucky, and this has been my last competition for that year. My child Noah joined the family in March 2011!I took over the management of the historical club La Madonnina, transforming it in the actual La Madonnina Equestrian Center, that is open to all riders-categories, from beginners to highest level with a particular attention for horses and personal grow.
I am Longines ambassador of elegance since 2003 and I've got a multi-year sponsorship with them. Thanks to this partnership I'll be competing on the 2013 edition of the Global Champions Tour.
2006 - 2009
THE BIG CHANGE
2006 was her best season so far: three first places (Uster CS, Siena CSI-B, Siena CSI-B Grand Prix), four podium placements (Kerzers CSIO-JY, Ladies’ in the Neuendorf CSI-A, Copenhagen CSI-JY Grand Prix, Humlikon Swiss Final Team Trophy).
During this year Jane moves to Italy at Vinovo c.o. "Società Ippica La Madonnina" where she actually lives.
Jane gain her better result in Super League during her first presence, at the Dublin Horse Show 2007 (IRL), where she was placed at third place in the Grand Prix riding Jalla De Gaverie.
2007 - 2009
EARLY ITALIAN PERIOD
In 2007 she win the Villa Manin CSI*** GP and the Palermo Coppa degli Assi GP riding Jalla De Gaverie and Alessandria GP on Kazop d'Ysieux.
During this year she win in Switzerland the "Rookie of the Year" prix.
In 2008 she gains a second place with the Swiss team in the La Baule CSIO (Super League), a victory on Kazop d'Ysieux and a lot of placing during the season.
In 2009 she win the Manerbio CSI*** GP on Zekina Z.
2010
KENTUCKY WEG
2010 - During the Gran Prix of the Nation Cup Jane gains the 6th place with Jalla de Gaverie and the 14th place with Zekina Z in the final round of the World Cup. She takes part to the Gran Prix of the CSIO at Piazza di Siena in Rome (Italy) and in St. Gallen (SUI). In the same year she gains the bronze medail at the Swiss global championship with her 8 years old italian horse Upanisad di San Patrignano. With 3 clear rounds and the last one with 4 penalities she signes for the 3rd place. She then takes part to several Nation Cup competitions with the Swiss team flying to Rotterdam (NL), to Hickstead (UK) and Dublin (IE). On September she take off for the World championships in Kentucky (september 25th - October 10th)
2010
NOAH
2011 - Coming back from this fantastic experience in Kentucky she has some months break for her maternity leave and on March 7th 2011 is the birth of her first son, Noah! During this season she gains in May the 4th place in the Rome CSIO Quister de Guldenboom in the final round reserved to the yough horses. In June she wins the Big Tour (FEI ranking list) of the Alessandria CSI**. she collects new victories in the Cervia CSI** with Quister de Guldenboom, in the Big Tour of the CSI*** in Bagnaia, Manerbio and Tortona where she wins the Gran Prix with Pablo de Virton
2012 - 2013
ON THE WAY TO TOP LEVEL
2012 - This is a year full of satisfactions and success, whit good placing in Oliva (ES), during the Toscana Tour, the St. Gallen and Linz CSIOs, the Megève, Crans Montana and Viber CSIs. The year see Jane between the best riders in the world during the CSI5* Paris Gucci Master where she gains the 9th place with her Pablo de Virton. this is also the year where Longines, her main sponsor, consecrate Jane to paladin and elegance ambassador for the next competition included in the GrandSlam indoor (where the Paris CSI5* has been the first competition) and for the Global Champions Tour 2013
2013 - This is a full intense year with a second place in Zurich FEI World Cup GP immediately in January with Pablo de Virton. This is also the first year of Global Champions Tour with remarkable placements in GCT Grand Prix together with Pablo (a 5th place at Cannes and a 7th place at Doha) and a final 16th position in the overall GCT ranking season.
2014
NORMANDIE WEG
2014 - This has been the year of WEG in Normandie with the outstanding clear round with Pablo and the year as well of the confirmation in Longines Global Champions Tour with several placements and a 12th place in the LGCT overal ranking. A succesful year with placements too in FEI world cup competitions and Longines Masters!
2015 - Together with the top international events, such as Longines Global Champions Tour, Longines Masters and FEI World Cup, this year has seen new young horses, like Foica and Jidona, starting competing at the highest level with Jane. This year also confirmed the return of Zekina Z with some brilliants placements in the 5* competitions
2015 - 2016
THE CONFIRMATION IN 5*
2015 - Together with the top international events, such as Longines Global Champions Tour, Longines Masters and FEI World Cup, this year has seen new young horses, like Foica and Jidona, starting competing at the highest level with Jane. This year also confirmed the return of Zekina Z with some brilliants placements in the 5* competitions
2016 - In this year Jane dedicated a lot of energy to get her new horses ready for the highest international level, combining five stars competitions together with easier 2-3 stars events and national competition as well. 2016 has been the year of a new collaboration with Vestrum and the confirmation of stges clinics and summer/winter camps for riders coming from all around the World!

WHAT
A full and integrated preparation including horse care, dressage working, conditioning, lunging and jumping with dedicated exercises based on each individual level and preparation.
Lessons, scheduled in different daily sessions per day are hold in English by Jane and his experienced trainers
Even if English is the main language, we speak French, German, Flemish, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese!

There are many opportunities closed to the Madonnina Equestrian Center. Small apartment, studios, single bed in a shared room, single room and a very nice B&B 2 minutes walking from the stables.

THE RIDING CENTER LA MADONNINA
The amazing facilities of our equestrian center, allow us to prepare riders for every discipline and in any wheatear conditions: indoor white sand arena, outdoor white sand arena, race track in sand (always available even in case of very cold winter) and grass arena with some natural jumps!
THE CITY of VINOVO
Vinovo is a quiet and safe village just 15 minutes from the Olympic and historical city of Torino, great place for food, wine, sightseeing, winter sports and home of Juventus football team. The city airport is only 25 minutes from Vinovo and Turin has good train connections to reach different cities, mountains and the Mediterranean sea.
And by car, mountains and sea are just one hour drive from Vinovo!
