Let's rock the weekend with Izmir & Fouego!
The second week at the National 5* event of Cervia starts in the best way today with the 2nd place of Ocean in 6 yo old class in two phases and two placements in the 140 class in two phases : a spectacular winning round signed by the big wonderful bay Izmir van de Baeyenne and an impressive 2nd place got with the 9 yo grey Fouego de la Closière. At this historical show, held at the equestrian center "le Siepi" close to the italian seaside and tourist destination from Italy and Europe as well, Jane brought several horses, some of them at the first significant show after lockdown. For this reason the first week has been for some of them a soft rentrée to the big jumps and to the grass arena.
Last Sunday Ocean, the 6 yo bay mare daughter of Jalla de Gavérie, was placed 3rd at the reserved class with jump-off; Goldwyn was clear as well on 135 class a/clock, Clipper and Fouego jumped their first outdoor GP of the season, while Izmir got an excellent 2nd place in 110 class in two phases with Jane's son Noah (first time competing with horses!)
