And finally a LGCT leg at Valkenswaard !
After several months of limitations on live sports events due to Covid-19 pandemic, finally a world class international show jumping event was held last weekend in the spiritual home of Global Champions, at Valkenswaard in The Netherlands. In this superb facility, where the Founder and President Jan Tops raised to new heights the bar of the equestrian sport, Jane was there with 3 of her favourite horses after a few local competitions done to prepare horses for the biggest and demanding 5* events after the long lockdown. The big grey Fouego de la Closière, at his first 5* international event; the 12 years old Clipper du Haut du Roy and the young 6 yo Oetsjakov from Emerald did a very great job collecting several placements and jumping extremely well.
With Fouego de la Closière, Jane got a wonderful 6th place in 145 class in two phases on Friday. Clipper du Haut du Roy jumped very well his first 155 class after a very long time and, qualified for the LGCT GP 160 was great as well and ready for next competitions. The 6 y.o. from Emerald jumped like a star with a 3rd place on Friday and a 2nd on Saturday in 130/135 class against the clock !
Now heading to Etrea in Italy for next shows !
